These pre-wound speed hanks are the perfect size for making your ridgeline for a shelter, hanging your pack/food for the night, or can be used for hundreds of other expected....or unexpected needs. We hand wrap these into compact "speed hanks" that will quickly and easily deploy with jut a simple tug at Bowline loop pre-tied at the end. Features 25 feet of genuine Mil-Spec 550 Paracord (Type III MIL-C-5040H) that is made by a certified USA Government contractor for military uses. It's commonly known as Mil-Spec 550 Parachute Cord, Mil-Spec 550 Paracord or Mil-Spec Paracord, and includes an ID marker strand in the cord that identifies the manufacturer. NOT ALL PARACORD IS THE SAME. When you unravel an inner strand on genuine Mil-Spec cord it will have three pieces of cord per strand, not just two inner strands like non-Mil-Spec cord. It's smooth and pliable which makes it nice to handle, but has a high 550lb. tensile strength giving it superior strength and durability. Some of the many uses includes lanyards, belts, ridgelines, slings, hammocks, shoe laces, gear repairs, survival bracelets and other projects only limited by the imagination.
