PyroStryke® Ferrocerium Fire Starting Tools

Ferro rods are the generally accepted go-to for emergency fire starting, but not all ferrocerium rods are created equal.  Our special PyroStryke® ferrocerium alloy blend has been developed to produce the maximum pyrophoric effect (maximum heat release) that can that can reach temperatures of 3,315 °C (6,000 °F).  Lets face it, when it's time to make a fire, it's not time to mess around! In our modern technology filled world it’s easy to take to ability to make fire for granted. Just grab a pack of matches or your Bic lighter and you’re good to go right? Our ancestors didn’t have this luxury and their lives literally depended on having the knowledge and skills to create fire using whatever primitive tools and materials they could acquire.
