When practicing traditional fire-starting methods such as bow drill or flint & steel, you'll often require a fine, dry material to form a easy to handle "birds nest" for encouraging and transforming an ember into a flame. Out in the field this is normally gathered locally, but if you're just learning or practicing at home, our packs are just the trick to get you started.  Offered in either a 2-pack or 5-pack, each wad is just the right size for a single use, although they can be separated into smaller clumps if desired.
